Congratulations to Stacie Feller for getting her roofing license last month! Read on to learn more about this great accomplishment and how Stacie and the rest of Kanga Roof are looking out for you!
In October Stacie became Kanga Roof’s newest licensed roofer. She passed all her exams and presented references to become licensed in both commercial and residential roofing. Scott was already licensed and we’re excited Stacie has taken this step to further commit herself to our customers! She is also only one of nine women licensed in Texas!
What is an RCAT Roofing License?
The Roofing Contractors Association of Texas issues roofing licenses to individuals in Texas that prove they are a cut above other roofers. RCAT licensed roofers take quality and safety seriously. They are well versed in industry standards and knowledge. They are also financially responsible and have the support of their customers and peers. To become licensed they must submit references, pass a business and safety knowledge exam, residential and commercial roofing exams, and renew their license annually with continued education requirements.
How a Roofing License Helps You
The state of Texas does not require roofers to be licensed, and acquiring a license is completely voluntary. That’s right, Stacie and Scott have gone out of their way to prove how dedicated they are to roofing and ensuring the best possible product and job! In Texas, a licensed roofer is a sign you’re working with someone who is knowledgeable, safe, and trustworthy.
Next time you see Stacie congratulate her on her accomplishment and new RCAT License. If you want to learn more about working with a licensed roofer like Kanga Roof on your next project, contact us today!
